The curse of love

I once dreamed of my love, Sitting on a huge oak tree. Her lips pressed against mine, I felt as warm as I can be.
But then that picture changed, And I was suddenly on my own. I searched for her frantically, Horrified of being alone.
And like a depressed Romeo, Who misses his dear Juliet, I sat there,
Remembering the things she always said,
And how our eyes met.
And above my head,
was a heavy debt, That can never be paid, A deadly disease, With no cure, And I was no longer sure, That I was still dreaming...

Hundreds of children yelling, screaming. Horrified wails that deafen you. The fear is tangible, So thick you can’t breathe, The shame of a thousand souls. And then, midst the howling, A faint cry of hope, A baby that has not yet fallen. A child that hasn’t been tainted, And the evil seems to be gone. Then a cry from the child. His voice joins the torment. Screaming.  All hope is gone.

WOW, i never knew i could actually write poetry, i AM the creative kind, but POETRY? that was really wierd, but actually, i like it, i really do.
i would really want to thank my friend habiba who inspired me to do all this, cuz when i looked at her gallery which is LOADED with poetry, i was like: why the hell can't I give it a try, so i just sat on my bed and scribbled anything in my mind, and VOILA, i have a poem...
